October life

We had to start off the month of October with the deer hunt. We were able to go to the Barton cabin and spend time with family. Kaisley loved being able to be outside and play with the kids, we had so much fun making so many different treats we all especially loved making Grandma Barton's homemade doughnuts.  After the cabin trip we were able to keep hunting around town where I got my deer, and then Grandma got her first deer ever! The best thing about getting all of these deer we are going to have lots and lots of jerkey thanks to Travis.

Well of course after the hunt is all over we have Halloween! This year we planted our own pumpkins and got a million of them and Kais could not wait to be able to pick them, and the time finally came that we could actually pick them.  After picking them we had to carve them Me and Kais got together with Parker and Nicole and carved our pumpkins.  Of course Kaisley did not pay too much attention but she liked them when we lit them up.

We were so lucky to have Shaq make Kais dress for Halloween. At first Kais did not like her dress but once everyone told her how pretty she was she started to like and of course she got to hold her wand and basket which she loved!!! and she had to trick or treat with the boys!

Crazy Busy Summer!

Well its been a super busy summer, since the last post we had the 4th of July, A Wedding, Rodeo, and a Lake Powell Trip.
Well the 4th of July was a so much fun we went to the parade, and then headed to the races/games where Kais got to run her first race and as you can see she did not run we had to walk with her the whole way. But there was one thing she got into she loved eating the watermelon. It was so much fun spending time as a family.

The Wedding was a Success, they both said yes!! Jamie and Todd were married in the Draper Temple so we got to go up and stay in a motel and go swimming in the hot tub cause the pool was so cold but it was still fun.  Although it was a long weekend it sure was fun dancing and spending time together.

Kaisley and I were able to go the the Spanish Fork Rodeo for the 24th of July, we went with Stacie, Jamie, Katie and Abi. When we got there Katie saw a mechanical bull and decided she wanted to ride it so we put her on and she did pretty good, the rodeo itself was really good and the kids loved the princesses.

Well there are only two words to describe the lake success/failure the first day we were on the lake was so much fun stacie got up on the wake board the first time, Kais loved to sit on the back of the boat and put her feet into the water and watch everyone swim, well as we decide to go back to the trailers the boat breaks down and was broke down the rest of the trip. So as we were stuck on land we decided to go to antelope point and let kais swim and feed the ducks and fish which she loved! We were also able to watch Jamie and Travis eat it doing the wake boarding pull (i guess thats what you would call it). Even though we couldn't go out on the water the ice cream, caramel popcorn and amazing food made up for it :). Couldn't ask for a better time with the family.

Catching up

Well since Kais birthday its like she has grown into a little girl she is talking like crazy she repeats everything you say (good or bad), she is a lover of animals, Grandpa Barton had the bull at their house and she thought it was the greatest thing to see him every day and got good at yelling HEY at him. She loves the cat she figured out that she can carry him which means she carries him by his throat and when he has gone long enough without a breath then he wiggles free but then he comes back for more so she thinks they are best friends. And still she loves coby if he is laying down she has to sit on his back she loves to give him hugs she always keeps track of him and makes sure he is still around.

Kais has loved summer we got her a little pool which she loves we put her slide in it so she could slide into it. she loves to be outside and go for rides in the ranger, we took her fishing she was not sure about sitting in the boat but once we caught a fish she kept saying fishy fishy.

She has discovered how to climb and to fall off of everything just yesterday she managed to climb onto the table several times the bar and the stove needless to say she fell off of each of them and still went back to climb on it again.  She has finally decided to like her rocking horse and now that she can climb she can get on him and rock, and as you can see she wont put her pepsi can down to rock.

Last week we were able to get away with my family and go to our cabin for a week.  Kais LOVED it she loved being able to be outside all of the time. She was also a big helper especially with the baby she thought she could pack her around like she does the cat, but every time she cried she would find her and say baby sad! and she made sure you heard her, we would find her peeking over Jenna's pack and play saying baby sad (even though she was sleeping).  Kais loved to swing with the girls and chilling on the porch with Grandpa. We were able to ride in the ranger and see a lot of deer and elk.  The girls wanted to go fishing one of the days so we went to Panguitch Lake to fish and i was fishing with Katie's fishing pole and surprisingly with my 30 feet of string and my 2 foot pole i actually caught a fish! We had such a good time and we never went without Dad made homemade ice cream and mom made caramel popcorn so we ate only the best :). Grandpa had a great time teaching the girls about things around the cabin, he taught them all kinds of things between drinking from springs to starting a fire in the wood stoves.   It was so nice being together as a family and being able to relax.
